Easy to break apart for straight edge razer holder and it’s a lot I’m not going to need more for a while

I find these to be excellent blades. I have used several other brands and after using these I have no iterest in trying any other brand. They are single use blades but that is typical of all brands of safety razor blades and for the price remain competitive even with disposable razors.

These blades are more on the mild side of sharpness. They still get the job done but for people with thicker hair, these might not be the best for you. They are amazing for the low price. I go through 2 blades per week. These never nicked me once. I have gotten a couple of razor burns but I have sensitive skin and these blades are mild. Overall I give this product a 4/5.

Smooth. Stays pretty sharp all week. I like the polsilvers better however. They are sharper and smoother. But are less forgiving.

I am still getting used to these after Gillette 7 o’clock. Maybe trying to stretch too many extra shaves per blade. I am happy with them and would buy again!

I just ordered another 100. I get a week of shaves from a blade, but I do treat them like a good tool. The blade edges are clean and dry after each shave – yep – takes maybe a whole minute to brush off the razor and blade under hot water and blow off the blade, but like any good tool you have to take care of them if you want them to work well and last. I had ONE blade of the one-hundred that was not as sharp as it should have been – I used it for one shave and changed it for new blade.
I am so glad I went to the safety razor, still a great shave without tossing stupid money at the latest mulit-blade wonder shaver of the week.

Daily shaver with coarse beard, use it with Nivea shaving cream and Edwin Jagger system. Earlier i used Astra’s mostly with an occasional Feather.

    – Much better than the Astra’s in terms of comfort.
    – Hardly any nicks as compared to the Feathers. Gives almost similar close shaves.
    – Lasts upto 4 shaves, again better than the Astra’s
    – Absolutely no razor burn, this was a problem with both Astra and Feather especially against the grain.

Overall for the price and comfort a winner, will order again.

Nice packaging. The printing on the steel blade itself is a bit smudgy, but that has no bearing on the quality of the blade. I bought the single edge razor model SRX from Parker and used the included half blade with it. The quality was superb. The shave was smooth, close and even. Today I used the twin edge with the Bombay Shaving Company twin edge razor with the normal head (as opposed to Aggressive). This was from the current pack of 100 blades @ Rs. 999. Feel was almost the same. They were two different types of razors. So you can’t really compare exactly.

How does it compare with Feather? Costwise, you pay half as much for Parker as you do for Feather. In terms of the shave itself, I don’t find anything different. In fact, I liked the feel of the Parker better. In terms of the weigh of the blade itself, it is a bit lighter than Feather meaning there is less metal in this blade than Feather. I could be wrong here because I haven’t weight them on an electronic weighing scale. I don’t use any twin edge blade till the end of its life because it is not worth it. It is too early to say how long each Parker blade lasts since I have only had one shave so far. If it lasts for four, I would say it is as good as Feather in terms of value for money. However, if I use the single edge Parker SRX, I have no reason to stretch each blade that long. I might as well use each half blade once. That only time will tell.

Who is this blade for? You care about your face and don’t mind spending a bit more than the Indian brands available from local shops. Don’t get me wrong! Those brands are not bad. But the reason for the lower price is not just the sharpness, but the thickness of the blade. Thinner blades (cheaper) have a tendency to lose sharpness during one shave just because they are thin. The roughness of the edge of the blade can only be felt when you shave. You cannot see the difference with the naked eye. There are not many quality options available from retail stores. Quality blades are either exported from India, or imported from overseas. So a common Indian consumer has to buy the three blade and five blade razor blades like the Gillette Mach 3 or Mach 5. You want a quality shave, you have a high quality twin edge or single edge shavette razor and you want an appropriate blade at a reasonable cost, then Parker blade is for you.

Just bear in mind you are buying 100 shaves with this pack assuming you will throw the blade after every use. That’s still quite a long way. You might be wondering if it is worth it. I think it is. I am saying it once again after writing a review on the SRX, don’t compromise on the shaving brush and the shaving cream. Get a good quality brush and a good quality shaving cream. That plays a major role in the quality of the shave.

These are what you call in-between quality starter blades. They are neither top quality nor poor. If you are confused about which blades to choose, these will be a safe option to start with. It lasts me somewhere between 2 or 3 shaves at most. And for reference, I normally shave once a week so it is still mostly just a little more than stubble. I got the pack of twenty (total 100 blades) for 949 INR. Always prefer listing prices in my review as amazon listings vary greatly from time to time. This purchase should last me for a long time. Satisfactory in one word.

I started shaving with a safety razor (a Merkur 38C-type) about 11 years ago. These are the absolute best razor blades I’ve used SO FAR for shaving. I can get between two and three shaves with one blade, and my beard is relatively thick, and I tend to let it grow out between shaves. If you remove the blade after shaving, rinse it, dry it, dry the razor, and replace the blade, it will keep and will not rust. It holds the edge very well, and the teflon on the blade is very smooth. I bought 200, and I’m glad I did. I won’t need to buy blades for a long time. 🙂

I’ve ordered these blades several times and I will NOT use any other brand. These blades have me great for the past few years sense I started to use a safety razor. Inexpensive and 100 blades per box you can’t beat them. I’ve let friends have some of the blades and got them using them now too. The give me a close clean even shave every time. And these blades stay sharp throughout the shave I’ve rarely ever had to use more one blade per shave and I have a good bit of facial hair. Only had to use more than one a handful of times when I’ve gotten lazy or have just been so busy I don’t have the time to shave. But never the less these blades never disappoint!

    Ues sir

This is my first experience with a double edge razor. I recently bought one to reduce the environmental impact of maintaining my face. The razor I bought didn’t come with blades, so I went online and started reading reviews.
I chose these blades because I had read reviews that they were easy on the skin. I’ve been prone to razor burn and outbreaks in the past, so this blade seemed like a good one to try.
The blades come in one cardboard box. Inside the box are blades in 5 packs, with the pack wrapped in cellophane. Each blade is wrapped in paper inside the pack. I was surprised at all the wrapping and packaging. If I could change anything about this product, it would be to eliminate the cellophane and have either one big box of blades or bigger packs.
The blade itself has been great. I’ve not had any issues with the shave. It’s a close shave and feels better than the multi blade razors that I was throwing away after a few uses.

TL;DR – Great blade for sensitive skin, wish there wasn’t so much packaging waste.
